Job description

Our Atlanta-based team requires a diligent and exceptionally versatile Technical Writer. If you possess an innate ability to dissect multifaceted software systems and convert them into coherent, easily navigable documentation, your career trajectory could very well intersect with ours. We aren't simply filling a position; we are curating a role designed to empower a clear and concise communicator who thrives on challenges. This position is available on-site and remotely to match the ever changing needs of our team.

Principal Activities

  • Craft, revise, and maintain an expansive library of technical documentation including API references, user manuals, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Collaborate extensively with software developers, product managers, and quality assurance engineers to gain comprehensive insight into software features and functionalities.
  • Spearhead documentation sprints aligned with Agile development cycles to ensure timely and relevant information dissemination.
  • Develop interactive tutorials and video walkthroughs to enhance user comprehension and accessibility.
  • Champion best practices in technical communication, actively contributing to the refinement of our documentation processes.
  • Manage documentation revision control using Git and related tools to ensure version accuracy and integrity.
  • Actively monitor user feedback channels to identify areas where documentation can be improved or expanded.

Your Unique Qualities

  • A demonstrated background in technical writing, particularly within the software industry. We admire portfolios exhibiting diverse content formats.
  • A robust understanding of software development lifecycles, Agile methodologies, and version control systems.
  • Uncommon facility with markdown, HTML, and other content formatting languages.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and unwavering attention to detail. Missing a semicolon is more than just a grammatical oversight to you; it's a professional affront.
  • Unmatched ability to function both autonomously and collaboratively in a multifaceted team setting.
  • The knack for succinctly conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Company Perks: The Tech Forward Advantage

  • Competitive salary with potential for performance-based bonuses. We recognize and reward contributions.
  • A comprehensive benefits package including top-tier health, dental, and vision insurance options.
  • Generous paid time off to promote work-life harmony. We appreciate that you have a life beyond the keyboard.
  • Professional development opportunities tailored to your specific career trajectory. We invest in our employees.
  • Access to state-of-the-art technology and collaborative tools. Work efficiently and effectively.
  • A flexible work environment that accommodates both on-site and remote collaboration. We trust our team.
  • A collaborative, innovative culture fostered through team-building events and ongoing knowledge sharing.
