Job description

Our team needs a sharp technical blogger and content creator in Atlanta who can break down complicated tech topics for a non-technical audience.

The Mission Our rapidly growing user base needs approachable, easily digestible explanations of our platform's capabilities and benefits. We are NOT looking for someone to just regurgitate product specs. We need someone who can translate those details into relatable, benefit-driven content that shows users exactly how our technology solves their problems. Think "explain it like I'm 5," but for software.

What You'll Do

  • Craft 3-4 engaging, informative blog posts per week (600-800 words each) covering a variety of topics, including cloud computing, AI, data security, and industry trends.
  • Develop accompanying social media snippets to promote blog content and engage readers on LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook.
  • Produce short explainer videos or animated GIFs demonstrating key platform features and benefits.
  • Collaborate with our product and engineering teams to ensure accuracy and alignment of messaging.
  • Conduct keyword research and optimize all content for search engines (SEO best practices are critical).
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest technology trends and translate them into compelling content.

Practical Mastery & Requirements

  • A portfolio showcasing your ability to write about technical topics for a general audience is a must.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of SEO principles and content marketing strategies.
  • Proven ability to create engaging content across multiple formats (blog, social media, video).
  • A collaborative spirit and willingness to work closely with product and engineering teams.
  • A bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, technical writing, or a related field.
  • Bonus points for experience in the cloud computing or SaaS industry.

Studio Culture & Perks This is a freelance or contractor position with flexible hours. We are open to fully remote work, hybrid arrangements, or even someone who prefers to work from our office in midtown Atlanta. We offer competitive rates, opportunities for advancement, and the chance to make a real impact on a fast-growing company. Plus, free coffee and snacks!

Our benefits focus on supporting your artistic journey. We believe that empowered contractors deliver their best work. Enjoy a flexible schedule that respects your creative flow. Get priority access to new technologies. And access professional development resources so that you constantly sharpen your writing and communications skill set.
