- Our team needs a sharp technical writer to create documentation and web content supporting our growing software product line. We're a small but rapidly expanding tech company located in Fort Worth, and we need someone who can hit the ground running. As our new Technical Web Content Specialist, you’ll take ownership of documentation, training materials, website updates, and some marketing copy. **Core Responsibilities:** * Craft and maintain clear, concise, and accurate documentation for our software products, including user manuals, API documentation, and troubleshooting guides. * Develop engaging web content, including blog posts, case studies, and website copy, that educates and informs our target audience about our software products. * Work closely with our product development team to understand new features and functionality, and translate technical information into user-friendly content. * Update and maintain our existing web content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and SEO effectiveness. Regularly contribute new content to support our SEO strategies. * Collaborate with marketing to create compelling marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and email campaigns. * Participate in user testing and feedback sessions to identify areas for improvement in our documentation and web content. * Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in technical writing and web content development. * Maintain documentation standards and templates to ensure consistency across all deliverables. * Assist in developing and executing our content strategy, including identifying target keywords and topics. * Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities to improve our SEO performance. **What You Need to Succeed:** * Proven industry background in technical writing and web content development. Prior roles should showcase strong analytical writing. * Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills. * Familiarity with software development processes and methodologies. * Experience with content management systems (CMS) and documentation tools.
