Job description

Our client, a dynamic force in the Minneapolis sustainability sector, seeks a passionate and skilled Content Marketing Copywriter to amplify their message and drive engagement. As a Content Marketing Copywriter in Minneapolis, you will spearhead the creation of compelling, informative, and visually engaging content that resonates with their target audience, building brand awareness and fueling their mission to create a greener tomorrow. They aren’t just looking for someone to fill a position; they want someone to champion their mission, to live and breathe sustainability, and translate complex concepts into accessible and engaging narratives.

Content Creation & Strategy:

  • Develop and execute content marketing strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Produce high-quality, SEO-optimized content including blog posts, articles, case studies, whitepapers, infographics, and social media updates.
  • Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics to generate innovative content ideas.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and internal teams to ensure content accuracy and relevance.

Responsibilities for the Role:

  • Writing: Writing marketing copy to educate and compel our ideal prospects, including website copy, blogs, emails, and print assets.
  • Collaborate closely with our graphic designer to create clear infographics and informative sales sheets that translate value prop concepts effectively.
  • Sales and Product Knowledge: Working with product teams, to distill technical concepts into compelling value statements.
  • Lead Generation: Working in HubSpot to support drip email campaigns, build landing pages, and refine automation, based on real customer insights.
  • Measurement: Reporting on effectiveness of programs on leads created and sales bookings
  • Collaborate with sales, product, and marketing stakeholders to ensure effective messaging is consistent across all mediums. Use data to identify and act on optimization efforts.

Required Background & Skillset:

  • Demonstrable experience in content creation, including writing engaging blogs, articles, social media posts and lead-generating emails.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in marketing, with B2B/SaaS experience highly preferred
  • Experience creating and optimizing lead nurturing and lead scoring processes
  • Superior project management skills, including prioritization and planning.
  • A track record of improving the efficiency and effectiveness of demand gen initiatives.
  • Experience working in HubSpot or similar marketing automation platform.
