As our dedicated Technical Writer, you'll be responsible for creating, maintaining, and updating a comprehensive suite of technical documents. This includes user manuals, API documentation, troubleshooting guides, and internal knowledge base articles. - Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our products and services.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product management, and customer support teams to gather information and identify documentation needs.
- Write, edit, and proofread technical documents to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
- Create diagrams, illustrations, and other visual aids to enhance understanding.
- Manage documentation revisions and updates, ensuring version control and accessibility.
- Contribute to the development of documentation standards and best practices.
- Participate in user feedback sessions to refine documentation and improve user experience.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance the relevance and effectiveness of our technical documentation.
Your Distinctive Profile
- Proven experience in technical writing, preferably within the software or technology industry.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication proficiencies, along with superb attention to detail.
- Proficiency in documentation tools and software, such as MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, or similar.
- Understanding of information architecture principles and documentation methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
- A foundational degree in English, Journalism, Technical Communication, or a related discipline.
- Familiarity with API documentation and software development lifecycle is highly desirable.
