Our Tampa-based non-profit is seeking a detail-oriented Grant Writer to join our Development team. This role offers the chance to directly impact our community by securing vital funding for our expanding programs. Community Impact & Responsibilities

  • Research potential grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
  • Develop compelling grant proposals that align with the organization's strategic goals and funding priorities.
  • Manage the grant application process, including preparing budgets, gathering supporting documents, and ensuring timely submission.
  • Maintain accurate records of all grant-related activities, including deadlines, reporting requirements, and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with program staff and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure that proposals accurately reflect program needs and impact.
  • Prepare grant reports, ensuring compliance with grant guidelines and requirements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with funders to foster long-term support.
  • Stay informed about current trends and best practices in grant writing and fundraising.

Academic Background Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
