We're on the hunt for a detail-oriented Technical Writer to bolster our documentation efforts. As our resident documentation guru in St. Paul, you will transform intricate technical data into accessible and engaging user-friendly material. Your Core Focus

  • Creation & Upkeep: Compose, revise, and sustain comprehensive technical documentation, encompassing user manuals, API references, troubleshooting guides, and installation procedures.
  • User Insight & Enhancement: Collaborate closely with engineering, product management, and customer support squads to amass information for documentation enhancements.
  • Simplicity & Clarity: Uphold consistent formatting standards while crafting lucid, concise, and error-free writing that facilitates user understanding.
  • Feedback Loop: Actively solicit user input and incorporate it into updates to optimize document relevance.
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Preserve up-to-date knowledge of industry writing benchmarks and proactively apply them.

What Makes You a Solid Candidate?

  • Industry Experience: Hands-on expertise in producing technical documents for a SaaS or cloud environment.
  • Technical Inclination: Comfort navigating various operating systems and familiarity with markup languages (like XML or Markdown).
  • Collaborative Aptitude: Ability to engage with different teams to gain crucial documentation intel.
  • Problem-Solving Skillset: Keen to solve complex problems and succinctly explain solutions.
  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with help authoring tools and content management systems (CMS).
