You will collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and support staff to ensure that our documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to-date. A passion for detail, an insatiable desire for learning, and the ability to translate dense data into accessible insights are essential for success in this role. **Key Functions** * Create and maintain technical documentation for our products * Work closely with engineers, product managers, and support staff * Review and edit technical documentation written by others * Create diagrams, illustrations, and other visuals to enhance documentation * Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends * Manage the documentation review process * Keep the documentation up-to-date with new releases * Contribute to the style guide **What You’ll Bring to the Table** * Experience crafting various types of user documentation: user guides, administrator guides, installation guides, and troubleshooting materials. * Practical familiarity using documentation tools and platforms to write, format, publish, and manage technical content. Understanding of MadCap Flare and Sphinx is a plus. * Demonstrated skill in transforming intricate information and processes into well-structured, coherent, and usable content. * Robust attention to detail, ensuring a high degree of accuracy and compliance with editorial standards. * Capacity to independently gather relevant information by interacting with technical experts and using self-led research techniques. * A dedication to creating accessible content for varied experience levels and multicultural backgrounds. **Even Better If You Have** * A technical certification to validate abilities in an IT-related discipline, like technical writing, or relevant industry qualifications, solidifying domain competence and capabilities. * Proficiency using collaborative project management and content creation tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Teams to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders. * Experience operating inside agile software development environments and actively participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. * Innate knack for troubleshooting and issue resolution to help enhance support documentation.
